I like how the house has a spooky feeling, yet it’s not one of those cliched old Victorian style houses. I guess as more and more of us begin to live in cities, old buildings like this will become to replace our conception of ‘haunted house’.
Lovely place, been there once and have to get back there. One of the more interesting places I have visited. Will inform you when I have more pictures of this place…
thank you all for your comments! El tero, you gotta take me with – I need to see what it’s like on the inside, as well as see what the surroundings look from inside.
Nice pic. And yes, it’s kind of spooky. Been there meny times as a teenager, we used to hang out there and get drunk. I really think u should go inside and take some pictures, hopefully the kids haven’t ruined the place totally. Keep on going with the good work on this site!
dearest citizen luke, thank you so much for your comment and visiting my humble grotto..
I remember about twelve years ago, somebody used to live there – officially. the place was run down already at that point. one day I was passing it again on my way from school, and I saw a drunkard literally thrown out to the yard.. and already then you could see broken household appliances rusting in the front yard.
nowadays it’s apparently mostly empty apart from occasional visitations by the homeless, drunken teenagers and so forth.
I’ll post links/information on the building(its history etc) when I come across it.
Onko tuo joku vanha tehdas? Ei taida kelvata enää ulkolaisille firmoillekaan, jotka ostavat yrityksiä muista maista. :) Aika rappiollinen kuva, mutta hieno. :)
